Alex comes back on the podcast and we try to separate liberalism and anarchism, with some success. We particularly focus on whether liberaldom - illiberal institutions that claim to be liberal - is the natural outcome of liberalism or a bastardization of it. Mostly we agree, probably because Alex and I both argue for a form of democratic socialism - so liberal socialism and anarchist socialism end up pretty close.

I also reference this episode with Iain McKay frequently: https://www.everydayanarchism.com/episode-42-kropotkins-theory-of-revolution-with-iain-mckay/
